2026 Parkinson's Awareness Month
April is Parkinson’s Awareness Month—a time to come together as a community to raise awareness, share knowledge, and support those impacted by Parkinson’s disease.
At GAPS (Greenville Area Parkinson Society), this month holds special meaning. It is an opportunity to shine a light on the challenges faced by individuals living with Parkinson’s, while also celebrating the strength, resilience, and hope found within our community.
Throughout April, GAPS is proud to offer a variety of programs, events, and educational opportunities designed to empower individuals and families. From exercise and wellness classes to support groups and expert-led discussions, our goal is to provide resources that improve quality of life and foster meaningful connections.
We also invite the broader community to join us in raising awareness and advocating for those affected by Parkinson’s. Whether you participate in a program, share information, or support our mission, you play an important role in helping us make a difference.
Together, we can build a more informed, compassionate, and supportive community for all those impacted by Parkinson’s disease.
