At this time, we are only offering virtual GAPS Support Groups. Please click the image for more information.

GAPS Coffee Talk is a monthly, educational series led by area experts in matters such as insurance, Medicare, home health, mindfulness, nutrition, and other topics relevant to our members. Registration is required. Meetings take place via Zoom every 1st Tuesday of the month.

GAPS Social is a monthly, fun social night for everyone to come and meet other active PD members, our board, volunteers, and staff. There are typically 18 socials throughout the year (9 in Greenville, 9 in Spartanburg) and one available virtually.

At this time, we are only offering the virtual GAPS Social (sponsored by our friends at Home Instead Senior Care). Please click the image for more information.

GAPS Bereavement Group is a monthly, virtual support group specifically for those who have lost a loved one through Parkinson’s Disease. No registration is required. Meetings take place via Zoom every 2nd Friday of the month.

Sponsored by co-founder, Stan Smith and his wife, Roz, GAPS 101 is a quarterly, informational retreat day with valuable information on the basics of Parkinson's Disease and how GAPS can support you on your journey. All people with Parkinson's, their spouse/care partner, family members, and friends are welcome to attend. Registration is required.

Sponsored by our friends at Harmony at Five Forks, GAPS Lunch & Learn is expert presentations on topics ranging from nutrition and exercise to the latest research as these relate to those people living with Parkinson’s Disease. Registration is required. At this time, we are only offering virtual GAPS Lunch & Learn.

GAPS Connection is volunteer or staff calls to the members. All members receive personal phone calls so they can know they are not alone. Isolation is a major challenge for GAPS members. As part of our mission to walk with those who are walking with PD, we call them to ensure that each member feels they are a valuable part of our community.

Sponsored by our friends at Interim Healthcare, GAPS Mentoring is a one-to-one, advisory relationship between a newly diagnosed person and an existing GAPS member who has been living well with PD to offer advice and encouragement for the journey. This program can be done through phone calls or video chat. Contact us today and we can put you in touch with one of our fabulous mentors! If you are a person with Parkinson's or a care partner and are interested in being a mentor to your peers, please call 864-905-2574 or use our Contact Page.

*You may need to download the Zoom app to your computer, phone, or tablet.
